Adeline Toniutti: the singing teacher of the Star Academy confides in her heavy past in 'Seven to Eight'

Adeline Toniutti : a conjugal sick

Adeline Toniutti became known to the public being part of the “Star Academy” team . After the end of the show, the singing teacher was a little discreet . On January 15, 2023, Adeline Toniutti was back and occasionally gave an interview to 'Sept à Huit'.

It was during this interview that the principal concerned confided in a relationship she experienced . And according to his words, it was not happiness. On the contrary, the singer went through hell in her marriage to such an extent that she came out of it traumatized .

Cet conjugal sick lasted for some time . As Adeline Toniutti said:

“At first, he belittles me. He said to me: 'You're useless, you don't work, besides, you're a whore when you go out'. Afterwards, it's a first slap. »

'I'm going to bury you'

That's not all ! His companion at the time did not stop at the slaps . This one beat him again. As a reminder, the facts date back to 2014, when Adeline Toniutti retired to a small chalet in Franche-Comté to prepare for her roles after being eligible for the Opéra-Comique. There, when she thought she could work by the fireside, she actually went through hell .

“One day he came home from work and I was at home obviously, and he turned the lock. He was angry, I had put the cutlery on the table wrong and I got a pie in the face. I knew it wasn't normal, but I was so weak, and then he didn't look good,' she said.

Adeline Toniutti then continued saying :

“And then it started again and again. I told him: 'If you do it again, I will have to leave'. And there, he said to me: 'If you leave, I'll cut you into pieces, I'll dig a hole in a wood and I'll bury you where no one will find you, not even your parents. »

Fortunately, she was able to count on a friend who got her out of there .

“She sees that I am deteriorating and understands what is happening. She said to me: ‘Adeline, there is something wrong, it is beyond your voice’. Then she asks me: ‘Is he hitting you?’, and I don’t answer because I don’t dare say yes to her”

This friend in question will then find the right words to convince her to leave . This time, Adeline Toniutti took her courage in both hands and decided to leave.

'She said to me: 'Adeline, do you want to end up in an armchair like your grandmother?' tell myself that I can still take care of myself. I have no more voice, but I still have two legs to go. And there, I took the phone, I called SOS Battered Women, and I left. »

Adeline Toniutti has lost her voice

Also during this interview, the singing teacher of 'Star Academy' told the reasons why she lost her voice . After starting opera singing at the age of 15, she saw her career take off a decade later. Nicknamed the “Rock n Roll Soprano”, Adeline Toniutti was, however, cut short at the height of her career by a misfortune : the loss of his voice.

No sooner had she listened to the journalist talk about this very difficult memory than the singer burst into tears .

“Actually, I was walking into a house and the chimney was badly installed. There was a crack that was causing the aluminum heat insulators to melt, and it was letting out toxic gases. One winter night, it burned my airways. I woke up speechless. I coughed so much that I vomited blood. I think I spat out my vocal cords,” she confessed.

This terrible reality did not seem so serious to the singing teacher .

'I didn't think it was so serious, that my career was going to be ruined. I was given a lot of cortisone to reduce the inflammation, the doctors thought I had laryngitis. But when they did the laryngeal exploration, we realize that it is very, very serious, and that I will no longer be able to sing, ”confided the singer.

Fortunately, the singer was able to regain her voice after three operations.
