As a reminder, Mathieu has put his operation on hold in order to go “on the road for almost 5 months” , as he said so well. Thus, it is from a ski slope that he wanted to celebrate the end of his greatest addiction .

“Hello followers! Just to let you know that it's been 5 months without tobacco and that I no longer feel the urge to do so after 25 years of 'smoking'. What bullshit and that money spent for nothing… “, he confessed.

How did he get there?

A few hours later, still sur son compte instagram , Mathieu answered some recurring questions of his followers. And among them, there are those who wanted to know how the farmer managed to end his addiction so quickly came back in force.

“I actually quit smoking the day I left for Colombia. I was at the hotel and I said to myself 'this is my last cigarette'. I haven't taken it back since. So what I recommend is to start quitting when there's a change, a vacation or something else… Because if you try to quit when you have the same routine, it's a little more difficult in my opinion,” confessed Mathieu.

He then went on to say:

“Then there is the child who arrives so it still gives me a strong will and then there is the fear of dying… you still have to anchor it in your head. And then I got help with patches. (…) Then I ended up forgetting and I told myself that I needed it more… ”

Mathieu: a change of life!

Since his separation from Alexandre , Matthew changed his life . First he wrote a book and now the former 'Love is in the Meadow' contestant has quit smoking. Besides, why did the two men separate? In an interview with Télé Loisirs, Mathieu confided .

“Today, we separate, by mutual agreement. Well, we call each other every day. We lived two extraordinary years, really. We did a lot of trips. But at one point, Alexandre struggled to find his place. I think he needed a quieter, less turbulent life. He wanted to be stable, a more classic life, ”said the bull breeder.

A break which would have taken place at the end of August just before Mathieu left for Colombia. Geographically, the couple had already been separated since Alexander had accepted a position in Deauville . A distance that may have accelerated things.

“He stayed in Deauville for a long time. He had found a contract there, he missed the races. I'm sure there's no one. He is a very straight guy,” said Mathieu.

Et si Alexandre a rompu, it's because he 'wants to live something else' .

“I need a more turbulent life, to move right and left, to do lots of things. The life I wanted no longer suited him. I'm as faulty as him, in fact, it's 50/50. That's why I let him go. I am as responsible as him,” added Mathieu.
